Why this exists
Kitchen renovations don't have to mean six weeks of takeaway.
Most Melbourne kitchen renovations run four to eight weeks. Every one of those weeks is a family cooking on a camping stove in the laundry, or spending the equivalent of a small holiday on delivered dinners.
The Temporary Kitchen Co. is a working kitchen you park outside for the duration. Delivered on a trailer, connected in 45 minutes, collected the day the new kitchen goes in.
How it's run
Owner-operator, on purpose.
One pod, one operator means you get one point of contact for the whole hire and a quote that doesn't have to fund a sales team. It also means bookings are held — if I've committed to your dates, another job doesn't bump you out.
The trade-off: I run one pod. When it's on a job it's not available for another. Book early on peak weeks — Melbourne renovation season runs hard through spring and autumn.
