- The pod
- Self-contained electric kitchen on a road-legal trailer, 4m × 2.25m excluding the drawbar. Two-burner induction hob, 27L fan-forced oven, 175L fridge-freezer, sink with a hot water tap, built-in dishwasher, washing machine, and dinette seating for four. No gas, no onboard LPG — electric only. Domestic specification, not for commercial use.
- Power
- Two variants, identical appliances. The Battery Pod runs from an ordinary 10-amp power point with a 48V battery buffering peaks. The 15-Amp Pod runs from a dedicated 15-amp circuit installed by the builder's electrician. Variant specified per site at scoping.
- Water
- Self-contained. A 90-litre fresh tank filled by drinking-water-safe hose from an outdoor cold-water tap. A 110-litre grey tank pumped out, or discharged to a sewer-connected overflow relief gully (ORG) where the property has one. No plumbing connection is made to the household's water system.
- Site requirements
- A level, firm pad of at least 7m × 3.5m with clear overhead access, an outdoor cold-water tap within 20 metres, and (where available) a sewer-connected overflow relief gully for grey-water discharge. Tight bends and limited reverse-in access are scoped site by site, not treated as automatic disqualifiers.
- Support and collection
- One number to call during the hire, with remote monitoring on power and tanks. Collection is priced into the hire and coordinated on the trade contractor's completion date or on the adjuster's instruction, whichever governs.
