Full kitchen pod interior showing cooktop, oven, sink and workspace.

What's included

A full kitchen in a trailer,
parked outside your job.

Every appliance, every measurement, every site condition you need to have in place — so you know before you enquire whether the pod will work at your site.

Inside the pod

Everything you cook with — nothing you don't.

  • Two-burner induction hob (induction mats supplied)
  • 27-litre fan-forced electric oven
  • 175-litre fridge-freezer
  • Built-in Omega 45cm dishwasher
  • Camec Compact 4kg washing machine
  • Stainless-steel sink with hot (not boiling) water tap
  • Dinette seating for four
  • Rangehood venting
  • LED lighting, 240V power outlets
  • Weatherproof insulated shell — electric only, no gas

Site requirements

What you need on the ground for the pod to work.

Detail reads as competence, and it filters bad enquiries — if any of these are missing at your site, the hire won't work as advertised.

Pod unit

4 m long × 2.25 m wide, excluding the drawbar

Dimensions for the pod itself. The site pad below is larger to leave room for the drawbar during positioning and access on each side.

Site pad

Level, firm pad of at least 7 m × 3.5 m

Fits the pod, the drawbar during positioning, and a person passing on each side.

Access

Clear overhead access for the trailer during delivery

Low branches, cables, awnings or gate arches under 3 m rule the site out.

Water

Outdoor cold-water tap within 20 m

Standard garden hose fitting. Drinking-water-safe hose supplied. The tap fills the pod's onboard 90-litre fresh tank — no plumbing connection is made to the household.

Power

10-amp outlet (Battery Pod) or dedicated 15-amp circuit (15-Amp Pod)

Battery Pod runs from a standard 10-amp household outlet with a 48V battery buffering peaks. The 15-Amp Pod needs a dedicated 15-amp circuit installed by the builder's electrician. Variant specified per site.

Grey-water

Sewer-connected overflow relief gully, or pump-out

Grey-water from the sink, dishwasher and washing machine is discharged into a sewer-connected overflow relief gully where the property has one, or pumped out otherwise. Never discharged into the garden or into stormwater.

Ground

Firm, level surface — concrete, pavers, compacted crushed rock

Soft grass, deep gravel and unlevelled dirt cannot support the pod safely.

    Delivery day

Pod arrives on a road-legal trailer. Manoeuvred into position, levelled on jacks.

  4. 04

    Handover

15-minute walkthrough — how everything works, where the tanks sit, my number for the whole hire.

  6. 06

    Collection

On your finish date. I disconnect, hitch up, and it's gone. Ground beneath is left as I found it.

Sites we can't service

If any of these apply, the pod won't work — better to know now.

This isn't a scare-tactic list. These are the six conditions that turn a delivery into a wasted trip and a difficult conversation. Photos with your enquiry catch most of these upfront.

  • Overhead clearance under 3 m along the delivery path
  • Steep driveway (steeper than 15° at any point on the run)
  • Sites reached only through the house, a shared driveway or a locked gate you don't hold
  • No level standing area at least 7 m × 3.5 m within reach of tap, power and grey-water discharge
  • Water pressure too low to run the sink and hot water together
  • No sewer-connected overflow relief gully for grey-water discharge, and no agreed alternative with the operator for pump-out

Unsure whether your site works? Send a couple of photos with your enquiry — 30 seconds of your time saves both of us a call-out.

The kitchen pod on its trailer, ready for delivery.

On the day

45 minutes on site, then you're cooking.

Delivery is a road-legal single-axle trailer. Once positioned, the pod levels on jacks, connects to your existing tap, outlet and greywater point, and does a full function check before I leave. You cook that evening.

Collection is the same in reverse. I hitch up, take it away, and the ground beneath is left as I found it.

Think your site works?

Send the address and a photo of the driveway — I'll come back the same day.
